Alphabet Academy serves the greater Cincinnati community as a leader of early childhood education. The professional staff of Alphabet Academy delivers a developmentally appropriate and nurturing program designed to enrich the lives of young children and their families. All services are provided in a safe, diverse and family centered environment.
Mission
We believe that learning takes place naturally through dramatic play and our teachers foster that learning through activities, routines and our curriculum. Alphabet Academy recognizes that all children are individuals who learn in their own way and it is our goal to support each child’s needs to help them be successful.
Philosphy
We strive to create a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment which fosters individual needs. We believe it is essential to develop a good rapport with parents to build a solid foundation for children to have a successful school experience. We believe in empowering children by offering them opportunities to make decisions and solve problems. By offering an engaging curriculum that stimulates the whole child (physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively) we hope to inspire a lifelong love of learning and a better appreciation for the world around them.
Our Staff
Alphabet Academy is staffed by caring individuals with varying degrees of education and experience. Fifty percent of our Lead Teachers hold a minimum of an Associates degree. Teacher Assistants and Aides receive on-going training to develop and strengthen their skills. Student Teachers from local high schools assist our regular teaching staff in the implementation of the program.
